Okay, this site is all about bikes. Bicycles, motorcycles, scooters, motor bikes, eBikes, virtually anything with two wheels. Eventually there will be a section for "Buy, Sell, Trade," a blog for discussions, and a place to post photos of your favorite two wheel ride. For now, this page is just to let you know that I'm out here in the cyberworld.
How did I come up with the name "Cyclebutt?" Have you ever heard the term, "Monkey Butt?" Monkey butt is a condition suffered by people who have spent an extra long time on a bike. Basically we're talking about a very sore rear end, discomfort in the buttocks, you know, a pain in the ass! If you've never experienced this condition, you haven't ridden lots of miles in the saddle. All serious cyclists experienced it and have learned how to deal with it. This subject alone has generated a great deal of controversy about how to minimize the pain. Personally, I've narrowed it down to a "Brooks" saddle for peddle bikes. Which model I use depends on the relationship between seat and handlebar height. But I digress.....
When you love the feeling of travel on two wheels you are bound to experience, "Cyclebutt." Bikers, cyclists, bicyclists, whatever you call yourself, many of us are willing to deal with a little discomfort in order to ride that extra mile. Hence, the name of my site.
Currently (April 2019) I'm gearing up to sell off part of my bicycle collection and a couple of eBikes I recently finished.
